They show Ferris wheels and wheat fields and flowers and trees and amid the quaint, unspoiled splendor imagine weary Japanese commuters, pressed chest to chest, peering out at a bewildering array of ads, searching for that familiar bottle, dreaming perhaps of a simpler time.
